Is Uber Eats delivery worth it? Its real pay, after the fees nobody lists

Partial — your numbers

PARTIAL — this page runs on your numbers

Uber Eats delivery publishes a pay model, never what you net per total hour in your city — and no truthful per-city dataset exists. This checker takes your logged numbers; any national band shown is labeled with its source and is a sanity rail, never a promise.

Labeled national band: $14.07 gross per active hour — Gridwise 2025 national medians (100k+ drivers) — gross per active hour. Gross, national, per active hour: a rail to sanity-check your log against, never a promise and never your city.

Uber Eats shows you each offer's pay before you accept — the most transparent gross in delivery, and still not a wage. The wage appears only after your miles, your waits, and your tax set-aside. This page is PARTIAL on purpose: your log is the dataset.

The part the poster skips: An offer that pays $6 for 25 minutes of driving is a $14 gross hour that becomes far less after 9 miles at the IRS rate. The accept button is a math test; this page is the practice.
